FAQ

  • Do we only treat athletes?

Not at all—we treat a wide range of clients with conditions commonly managed by physiotherapists.

That said, our expertise shines in working with active individuals who want to move better, recover faster, and return to the activities they love—whether that’s competitive sport, fitness, or simply staying active day-to-day. From professional athletes to weekend warriors, we’re passionate about helping people of all ages and activity levels achieve their goals.

  • What can I expect during my first appointment?

All appointments are one-on-one with your physiotherapist. We start by thoroughly assessing your injury, then use a tailored combination of hands-on treatment, therapeutic modalities, and clear injury education to help relieve your symptoms. Finally, we guide you through progressive exercises in our fully equipped strength and conditioning gym to ensure lasting results.

  • Do I need a physicians referral before coming?

You don’t need a physician’s referral to book an assessment or treatment with us. Most insurance providers no longer require one for physiotherapy, though a few still do. If you’re planning to use extended health benefits, check with your provider to confirm whether a referral is needed for reimbursement.

  • How long are appointments?

Initial Assessments are 45 minutes in length.

Treatment sessions are 30 minutes in length.

  • How many sessions will I need?

Your physiotherapist will perform a thorough assessment of your injury to determine a prognosis and provide you with typical healing timelines, so you know what to expect during your recovery.

  • Do you provide direct billing for services?

We do not offer direct insurance billing at this time. However, our Jane software generates a detailed electronic receipt for each session, which you can easily submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

  • Do you treat WSIB or MVA injuries?

We do not provide care for WSIB or MVA injuries.
